How To Get Your Driver's License
Once drivers training has been completed you will receive a Certificate of Completion of Behind-the-Wheel Driver Training (DL400D) which is gold, on the last lesson. Students must hold their permit for six (6) months and be at least 16 years of age before they can take their drivers license test. This is an original DMV document, we have each student initial on their file that they have received it.
To be able to take the test for your provisional license, you must have met the following requirements:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Completed Drivers Training
- Schedule an appointment at the DMV
To take the test for your license, students must take the following to the DMV.
- OL238 Certificate of Completion of Behind-the-Wheel Driver Training
- Permit Signed by parent
- Proof of Insurance / Registration
- Vehicle in good working order
